Posted May 26, 2010 The National Volunteer Fire Council's (NVFC) National Junior Firefighter Program
has partnered with Firehouse Expo, Spartan Motors, Inc., and California Casualty to provide two courses targeted for junior firefighters and junior firefighter
program advisors this summer. The courses will run concurrently from 9am-12pm on Saturday, July 24 at Firehouse Expo in Baltimore, MD. Lunch will follow courtesy of MSA.
The session for junior firefighters, open to youth ages 13-18, will cover topics such as youth leadership, future paths in the fire service, and youth-led activity
ideas. Junior firefighter program advisors will hear about serving as a youth mentor, applying for SAFER grants for junior firefighter programs, and activity
ideas, among other subjects. Register now for only $10 at

junior firefighters and 50 program advisors, so make sure to sign up early.

USFA Releases New Firefighter Autopsy Protocol Posted May 21, 2008
The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) has issued an updated version of the
Firefighter Autopsy Protocol manual, which was original released in 1994. The new Protocol addresses additional areas of information and considers emerging
